History 

Moon's Choice

Moon first sees Hunter when he comes back to camp after hunting. He has a plump rabbit in his jaws.  Moon walks over to him and he whines a hello. Moon thinks that when she is Alpha it will be exciting to run the pack with him as her Beta. Moon then thinks that he is hard to talk to and wonders how they will get along as mates. Hunter then is called over by Alpha. He says that food was plentiful but that some was to fast for the rest of the party. Moon thinks that this is the the first time that he has insulted his hunting partners.

The Alpha and Beta take the rabbit he caught and Hunter then takes a squirrel during eating time. Moon thinks that he looks arrogant, she then scolds her self saying that he provided them with a meal and they should be grateful. Moon's sister Star then says that he thinks that his tail touches the sky dogs. She then asks Moon if she really wants to be mated to Hunter. Moon says that he is a strong leader and that that is the type of beta and alphas that they need. Moon then wonders that if she could pick her mate if she would pick Hunter at all.

Hunter is next seen saying that they don't wont another pack hunting with them because that the other pack would take all the food even though they have plenty. When Moon says that she would hunt with them then patrol against them Hunter looks at her disapprovingly. 

After Moon makes her stand in Alpha she thinks that she finally understands why Hunter should be her mate. She then thinks that Hunter likes to lead so he can lead while she will tend to the sick dogs. She goes over to where he is and before she can speak he tells her that he and two other dogs are leaving the pack. He then says that he is going to make a new healthy pack and that Moon can be his Beta. When Moon asks him why he would turn his back on a pack that needed him he said that the pack was to weal tp survive. Moon asks if he would leave even though her father dog had promoted him and was kind to him. He then says that Moon is stupid and walks off. 

When Snap finds Hunter he says hello to Moon and Moon says hello back to him coolly. He then says that he is glad that some of his pack survived. When Moon asks him why he came back he says that he returned to lead them. When Moon asks if hers serious he says yes. When Mulch asks him what happned to Rush and Meadow he says that they got the sickness and died. Mulch then says that he must have taken care of them well because he saw them and said that they left him because he ordered them around to much. He then licks his lips and tells Moon that her parents dearest wish was for them to mates. Moon then rejects his offer and Hunter growls that Moon is a fool. When Moon says that the rest of the pack can choose to follow him or not nobody does. Hunter then says that Omega cant pick which pack to be in. Moon then snarls at him. Moon and the rest of the pack chase him off. Afterwards Moon sees Snap with some of his rump fur in her jaws.
